sql server - SSIS - Get data from db2, load into staging tables, and then merge into destination tables? -


i'm working on ssis package data couple of db2 tables, , insert preliminary tables. there need merge destination tables.

i'm having trouble don't understand why staging/preliminary tables necessary. there happens when merging staging tables destination table? way rid of duplicate data?
